Deep muscle therapy massage uses slow strokes, intense pressure (specific to muscle groups)on connective tissue(the tissue that binds & strengthens the organs and other tissue, such as muscle) , cross fiber friction, muscle stripping and other massage techniques. This relieves the chronic tension & knots. Deep muscle therapy can be slightly uncomfortable. More than one session may be necessary for chronic conditions.

The client is fully clothed in comfortable clothing(important for stretching).
